How usable is this ?

リナザウでRails動いたよーと報告したところ、justbudget.com さんより

how usable is this ? I’m dreaming of a Zaurus for so long.... I can’t beleive tha today I see it running Rails. Is it easy to install ? Is it confortable enough to do programming using it ? does a SL-5500 still a good buy ? Or should I look into a different model ?

まだ良いか悪いかの判断がつきません。小さなサンプルアプリケーションを動かしただけなので。

ただし、今のところZaurus上でRailsを使って遊ぶことはとても楽しいです。

少しだけ難しいと思います。 (MySQLAdapterまわりが)

今のところ快適です。しかし、大きなアプリケーションを作る時には快適でなくなるかもしれません。

SL-5500はやめたほうが良いと思います。たぶん。

私が使っている SL-C750ですら力不足に感じるので、それよりもスペックが劣る SL-5500では動かないか十分な速度が出ないのではないかと思います。
